Zaptag can store records of physical exams, tests, treatments, vaccinations, and current and past prescriptions. It can also store thumbnails of X-rays, MRI and CAT scans, and other visual information, including file names that facilitate quick and easy retrieval of the complete, detailed images from a data base. And each patient’s Zaptag can be updated with the latest test and treatment information while the patient is still in the clinic or hospital.

Zaptag is designed to serve as a dynamic data storage platform, enabling users to read, write, and update stored information at any time - and to share that information with a range of devices.

Zaptag is a small rugged and water resistant USB drive powered by SanDisk USA. It has all the usual functionality of a 256mb portable drive but additionally has Windows driven software which enables a person to create a personal emergency record that can be accessed in the event that a person is injured or incapacitated.

The main Emergency record page holds all the key information, such as name, age, allergies, next of kin details. This critical information can be amended and updated when required. In an emergency situation this will provide accurate and essential data, allowing medical staff to make informed decisions.  This information being made available as the drive is plugged into a machine, i.e. A&E location.

Two further pages are enabled for specific medical documents or images and personal general files such as photographs and Mp3. The Zaptag USB drive is unique in that files can be password protected, on a drive that is itself rugged and water resistant.  In the case of travel, crucial documentation such as passports, insurances and copies of tickets, can be easily captured, and retrieved when required, whilst remaining secure.
