ELECTRONIC TRACE
As stated, electronic tracing is a service that involves us in searching a number of Consumer or Commercial databases to find skip-tracing subjects. Debt Surveillance makes use of electronic tracing as we compare very old debts bi-annually with a Credit System, which records the details of new credit applications. TRACE & MEANS
Incorporating electronic trace but also using other sophisticated systems and information gathering techniques, also utilising our network of agents. You define your trace requirement; we offer a four tier tracing service as standard.
STANDARD TRACING FEES TRACE
The following Trace Fees may be increased once the SIA licensing of investigations companies comes into place. It is no longer possible to offer success only Trace fees since the Information Commissioners recommendations. Fees are as below for finding absent debtors or £15 for a no trace report.

TRACE SERVICES BEFORE LEGAL ACTION
There are a number of tracing options which will help you decided whether to proceed after the success only debt collection process and before the fixed cost legal process.

Trace if the debtor has moved or to find next of kin,             £38.50 fee

Means Report to establish the ability of the debtor to pay,    £38.50 fee

CCJ Report – to establish how many judgements,                £15 fee

Land Registry Search –before a charge on property,            £25 fee

Employment Trace – before attachment of earnings,             £35

In Depth Means – all of the above, charged by the hour

CCJ AGAINST A PROPERTY
A number of clients simply wish to know how many CCJ’s their prospective/client has against their property, for their own purposes. If the information is supplied to us by a list in an Excel spread sheet for example; it will be emailed back with the relevant information added.
LAND REGISTRY SEARCH
Owner, who mortgage with , land registry number, sometimes map, title deed, charges against property and value at time of purchase. England and Scotland.
EMPLOYMENT TRACE
This service is offered predominately to the legal and insurance industries. This service is particularly useful in situations where the subject is refusing to co-operate with regards to making an arrangement to pay back their debt. This service incorporates the same inquiries as a means report, however, the investigations are more in-depth. Our agent’s inquiries are primarily to establish the employment status of an individual, the information required if necessary for an attachment of earnings. We also include a general credit check to establish the credit rating of an individual, attempt to establish any assets of any worth upon which to levy.
COURT BAYLIFF
This service covers all manner of assets and is provided as part of the above legal services. It can be utilised before or in-conjunction with bailiffs.
