The Service Available

To provide a payroll service that:

  • Is fully comprehensive
  • Draws on our extensive Private and Public sector expertise (e.g. Local Authorities, Colleges, Schools)
  • Utilises the latest computer technology
  • Is Cost effective

Service Specification

We provide 2 types of Service, firstly a fully comprehensive and flexible payroll processing service, including:

  • Processing of all permanent and variable data in accordance with the appropriate pay and conditions
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Full gross ? to ? net calculation
  • Detailed and secure employee payslip
  • Implementation of all nationally and locally agreed pay awards
  • Calculating Occupational Sick Pay and Statutory Sick Pay
  • Calculating Occupational Maternity Pay and Statutory Maternity Pay.
  • Extensive pay period reports, prior to payment date
  • Full reconciliation of all pension scheme & AVC deductions and payment over within the stipulated timescales
  • Full reconciliation of all statutory deductions, including all end of year procedures to the Inland Revenue, within stipulated timescales.
  • Full reconciliation of voluntary deductions
  • Provision of P60's
  • Provision of P11D's as part of a full managed service or separately
  • 3 rd Party Bacs Payment
  • Liaison when authorised to provide employee information to 3 rd parties.
  • Regular visits by the Selima Bureau Services Customer Services Manager to discuss the payroll service.
  • Dedicated query answering service [Employee Help-Desk]
  • An annual Customer survey

Alternatively we can provide a Consultancy Service and provide such services as:

  • Review payroll departments working practices
  • Identify where best practice is not being operated
  • Design procedure manuals
  • Review of Payroll data flows & Record Keeping
  • Review/implement Reconciliation processes and controls
  • Evaluation of current systems and procedures
  • Assist as an independent advisor regarding outsourcing or the implementation of a new system
  • Provide Interim Management
