Saltash carries out training programmes to ensure high standards of workmanship and to maintain high levels of Health and Safety compliance.
Training ensures that operatives:
- Understand risk assessments and carry out their requirements.
- Inspect plant and equipment and immediately report defects.
- Are competent to operate powered plant and equipment.
- Lift and move loads correctly.
- Minimise the risks to gas, electric, water and other service pipes and cables.
- Correctly install and use ladders, scaffolding and access towers.
- Know how to handle the concerns raised by tenants and clients and ensure information is passed to the appropriate Customer Care team.
