In November of 2007 Colin Russ, previous owner and Managing Director of Regent, completed the sale of 100% of the share capital of Regent Office Care Ltd to the Samsic Group.

The Samsic Group are a privately owned French Company, specialising in cleaning and other soft services throughout Europe. Samsic have no other business in the UK and their philosophy is to run their foreign business’s independently, using the existing local management teams and utilising their experience and knowledge of the local market place.

We have a broad client base that includes major local authorities, schools and universities and a range of commercial clients including department stores, office buildings and football stadia.

Sales have grown steadily to their present level and Regent is today a professionally managed, soundly profitable contract cleaning business with a strong balance sheet.

While Regent is larger than most UK cleaning companies we are very much smaller than the giants of our industry. This means we have the resources and expertise required to deliver a consistently high standard of service yet individual contracts still remain visible at board level. We believe this has obvious client benefits.

Unusually for a company our size, we have an in-house training department that actually does train our cleaning and supervisory staff and is also responsible for monitoring compliance with the quality systems, procedures and controls upon which our ISO 9001 accreditation is founded.

Regent has a hard-working can-do culture in which customer satisfaction is the primary goal. We are ambitious to see Regent grow further but will not allow such growth to undermine our high standard of service delivery.

We are a member of the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) and have a multi-site license from the British Institute of Cleaning Science.
