Project success is almost totally dependant on the experience of the project manager. The PPI Learning Services Training Programmes team have experience of managing many business critical projects in a wide variety of industries and can provide the guidance on the best way to ensure success.

Our processes and philosophies are underpinned by PRINCE2® in which all our delivery staff are qualified.

A dedicated Project Manager will run the project throughout its lifetime.

• Before undertaking a project, we will convene a project workshop to which we will invite representatives of user groups and all project sponsors. We will clearly define the objectives, the budget and the approach to the project.
• We will define roles for all members of the project board and agree mechanisms for feedback, reporting, change control and issue resolution.
• All stages of the project will be clearly defined and will be signed off by the client representatives. Below is an example of a project flow.
• We will use our in-house assessment tools to group delegates by knowledge level to ensure learning is targeted and efficient. We will also use the same tools at the end of the project to demonstrate knowledge transfer.

A large project will be driven by one of our Project Managers and the actual course will be created by a nominated Project Leader who will also run the pilot courses. Once the pilot is signed off, the Project Leader will finalise the course materials and introduce other trainers to the project and ensure a consistency of approach. Our Project Managers are all kept up-to-date with all methods of delivery and will create a project which combines the most appropriate mix of instructor-led training and technology driven events.
