| Metromodels are manufacturers of '00' scale, model train kits of London Underground 'tube' trains. The kit car bodies and chassis are formed from etched brass
plate. This material is very light and enables an extremely accurate model of the prototype to be produced. Details including the roof rivet detail and the cab end headlamps are faithfully captured. The cab end, rear end, bogies and underfloor detail are manufactured from white metal. The model is available in kit form or ready made to order as required. The model can also be supplied powered or un-powered as required. We can supply Tenshodo 'spud' underfloor power bogies to enable the unit to be motorised. The full range of Tenshodo motor bogies and spares are also available. We also stock items from all major LT modelling suppliers. |
