Rock & Whatever is a mixture of Rock & Roll, Blues, Folk Rock, Country Rock, Soul, Rock Ballads, Brighton Rock, and... Whatever.

In the course of about 2,000 gigs in the above 'solo, complete' format, Ed Furst has learned over 500 songs in response to genuine, unprompted audience requests. To avoid serving up the same 30-odd songs on every appearance, the requests have so far been sorted into 7-going-on-8, rotating Programmes of Rock'n'Whatever, and also some embryonic Theme Programmes, such as Paddy's Night, C&W, Valentine's Day, Remembrance Day, St.George's Day, and a couple of very specific Birthday Programmes that were pretty much dictated to Ed Furst by the respective customers.
