Charter Construction Plc undertake traditional construction operations including new build, refurbishment, design and build, fitting out and management projects with all types secured via standard tendering procedures or negotiations.

We predominantly work within a 100 mile radius of Central London, however, we are prepared to tender for certain projects further afield.

Our normal range of projects are valued between £100,000 and £5,000,000.

All our projects are managed by dedicated, experienced personnel, which ensures a professional and efficient team able to complete projects on time, to the standard and quality required.

The Company has ensured that a sound financial base is maintained with no external borrowings.

About us

Charter Construction Plc was formed in 1983 by a group of individuals having a long and widespread experience in the Industry, who sought to establish a Company whose aims were to achieve Quality, Flexibility, Speed and Economy in the construction process.

With these objectives, the Company set out to secure and manage a variety of projects for a range of Clients and to establish a broad base of Professional Consultants.

The projects were progressed using teams of experienced personnel having adaptability and flexibility to quickly respond to changes in close liaison with the specific Client and Design Team. This process enabled the works undertaken to be completed on time to the standard and quality required and suitable for the end user.

The Company has achieved its objectives and has maintained a controlled growth over the years, with many projects being carried out for well known names in various sectors such as commerce, industry, education, health and finance. In addition, the completion of numerous, very prestigious residential properties, culminate in a wide ranging profile of experience, enabling the Company to successfully resource and staff many varied projects.

We maintain a directly employed workforce that incorporates main trade operatives and apprentices at various stages of their training, together with a database of carefully selected specialist subcontractors.
