We have a central laboratory based in Brussels, Belgium, and a cooperation partner in Germany. The samples are transported to these laboratories and are then carefully processed. Our procedures are amongst the most technically advanced in the world and comply with all international and local regulations. We have extensive quality systems in place, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in Germany, and NBN EN ISO 17025 in Belgium.

Apart from storage we have an intensive research programme. For example with our partners we are able to expand (multiply) stem cells. This enables us to carry out stem cells transplants in adults using stem cells from the umbilical cord.
