The Care2 Project is a non-profit making company that provides fundraising solutions for charitable companies and projects.
We are currently developing a recycling scheme that is based within the Teignbridge area of Devon, but more specifically Torbay and outlying areas.
Current strategies include:
1) The collection and recycling of unused/unwanted mobile phones and their accessories (which are refurbished to working order and donated to countries without an efficient telephone landline infrastructure).
2) Used printer and toner cartridges are worth a minimal amount to us once they have been used, but we are also able to recycle these in conjunction with another company who pay for all those that we are able to supply - this payment is then used to further our larger and more immediate strategy in Torbay for recycling furniture and household items.
3) Unwanted computer hardware and peripherals are also recycled and refurbished to a usable standard, which are then exported to developing countries for use in schools and community projects.
