These are just a few of the accolades given to Bozo and Zizi the Clowns for their environmental Theatre-in-Education shows. Over the past twenty years BZents have brought messages about recycling, litter and waste minimisation to nearly half a million school children in the U.K., and they are still going strong. With their current shows, "What A Waste!" and "Get It Sorted!" a new generation of British children will be getting the message in the company's own, inimitable way.

Big Top Bonanzas

Our Big Top Bonanza circus days have been developed to provide a taste of the fun, drama and excitement of the circus for pupils of all ages. You will see the children taking on new challenges and their joy at being succesful. Circus skills are a wonderful way of developing basic physical skills such as balance and control, co-ordination and movement, rhythm and timing, and throwing and catching. They also encourage self-confidence, teamwork and co-operation.

BZents teachers are experienced professionals who know how to motivate and encourage all the participants. They use a wide variety of teaching methods, giving the children the opportunity to see equipment being expertly used; the chance to experiment themselves; and individual attention to help them perfect their skills.

Horatio's Last Hurrah

It's the early 1800s and Britain is at war, a war where it is fighting for its very existence, an existence that is ensured by the exploits of the greatest hero of the age, the one and only Horatio Nelson!

BZents brings the tale to life with the help of your children! They will take all of the major roles. They will learn about the hero and the times he lived in; of press gangs and bad food, of admirals and signals all in a fun and memorable way. The company provides all props. and costumes needed. This really is an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.
 
Drama workshops connected to the performance are also available.

Don't Mess with Bess!

Queen Elizabeth 1; Good Queen Bess; The Virgin Queen, all names for one of the most famous and exciting of English monarchs.
 
Following the huge success of "The Tales of Robin Hood" and "Horatio`s Last Hurrah!" BZents have turned their attention to this great queen and in their inimitable style have created "Don`t Mess With Bess!"

The children at your event will bring the major happenings and many of the major players of her 45 year reign to life. Fabulously costumed and word perfect they will conjure up the Spanish Armada (all of it) and treasure, Sir Walter Raleigh and Mary Queen of Scots, Sir Francis Drake and potatoes.
 
The show has been written with particular reference to the requirements of the KS2 History National Curriculum requirements, and for performance in schools can also be offered with a drama workshop session.
