You have taken your first step on the road to ensuring your business complies with Health and Safety Legislation, just by visiting our website. ‘BLITS ME’ (Business Link Internal Training Support for My Employees), is here to help you look after your business health and safety needs. The Law requires employers to comply with health and safety regulations, including training your staff in health and safety matters and employing a competent person. A competent person will ensure the health and safety message gets across to your employees. No doubt you have complied with the law and appointed a member of your staff to carry out this role, you may even carry out this task yourself.

The law states if you employ 5 or more staff you have to provide a written health and safety policy, adequately train your staff, complete and record risk assessments and have a competent person deal with health and safety issues.

At ‘BLITS’ we provide health and safety training tailored to your business needs, using the following steps:

·Delivery of the basic health and safety training you require
·A health and safety manual targeted at your staff and premises
·Support after the initial training period

A report will be submitted to you outlining the findings and the best way forward to get your own health and safety policy off the ground, and make your business health and safety compliant.
